Goofbay?

Who here uses this? Is it reliable? Is it safe?

I'm tempted but I'm *really* not happy about sticking my e-Bay username and password into anything other than, you know, E-BAY.

At the same time I'm fed up with getting sniped at the end when 'playing by the rules' and I'm not always able to be in front of a computer when an auction ends, especially if it's in another country and I'm asleep!

So how about it?

One way not to get sniped is to put a large enough bid in so that it won't/can't be sniped out from under you. We all want things are cheap as possible and if someone can save a good chunk of change by bidding at the last second why shouldn't they?

I have lost auctions by as little as 12 cents and won one by out bidding the other dude by two cents at the last second. If he/she had bid a bit larger I would have not won.

Well im a last second bidder on **** and as cosmicdebris says you win some you loose some! Ive never used goofbay but interested also if anyone has?
