How much for a PGM100

Just thinking about selling my PGM because i am using my jem so much these days, was wondering what they are worth.

Its a 1990 PGM100 JB, all original parts.

In players condition, with about 7 dings in the clearcoat and a 2 cm chunk out the back (wasn't me). Pickups have faded a bit but still plays really really well.

Can anyone give me some clues about its value.

Cheers

Chunk? To the wood? Pics would sure help ;-)
Neck and fret condition?
Neck joint cracks?
Trem condition?

Anywhere from $400 (beat)-$1400 (mint)

OK well, i don't ahve any pics at the moment, have no camera but will get some.

Neck has few scratches on back, fretboard is very clean, minimal fret wear.

Slight neck joint cracks, clearcoat only i think.

Trem is errr, tired. Well worn on one side.

Nicks and dents

Impression dents --- Look like circles about the size of a pea

There is one chunk, yes a chunk down to the wood on the back edge next upper arm. About the size of half a plectrum. Can't see from front. Dent where someone has taken the trem out and smacked the body. 3 impression dents ont he front, clear coat only. Rest of the front is very clean. On back there is scrathces to the wood below the input jack. 2 more impression dents. And a couple of belt scratches. Small mark on ibanez logo, worn off.

Its not mint but its far from beat.

Does this make it any easier to value, i will post pics asap

Cheers

BEavis

Sounds a bit beat up according to your description. Still tough to say without pics.

I think scott74 (member here) picked one up in similar condition for around $200.

Yeah i'm afraid i agree, in that condition it really dont help.
Your looking at the bottom end of that price unfortunately.

But you'll still have people wanting it on here - me included.
And i am from UK....so you wont have to bugger about with shipping!

Just give me a PM if you decide to sell it and have a price!

And everybody raved about the steal he got.

Rough, but would still bring up to $500 in the US, more on a good day, and more in the UK. You guys are plagued with the highest priced Ibanez in the world

yeah, the UK does suck really for guitars. They are too expensive when new and you dont get anything when you re-sell it!!

But I wont complain if I end up getting a PGM100

Interesting, that must explain why used Chromeboys are selling for $5000 and beat used UV's are $1500. If you find a used guitar cheap in the UK you found a deal, it is the exception and not the norm.

Indeed,I have to agree with Rich,UV and DNA price's are always high 2nd hand,As are the rarer models ... RG5/6/7's seem to hold no 2nd hand value at all tho (comparitively speaking)

Which reminds me,Rich,I shall mail you in a mo ;-)
