how much to open a music store?

I live in a decent size town that doesnt have a music store on the south side of it. It has one in the North, West , and East side, but none in the south...

Im thinking first and last month and secuirty, all the deposits for electric , water, etc...

I dont have a clue where I would get inventory though....

Ive opened a Pizza shop before, so I have some idea of whats involved...

The inventory would be a lot more than everything else. If you sell new gear, some manufacturers/distributors have a minimum on what you have to buy from them. You also have to sell enough in a certain amount of time, or you may not be able to buy from them, or get things real slow. I can see it being a ton of work to start one, whether you sell new or used.
