You don't have to pay retail at GC. Ibanez guitars, especially high-end ones, have a big mark-up. There's plenty of room to negotiate that price, and the timing of the deal is everything. They need to hit their "numbers" so going in on the last day of the month or near closing time on a Sat or Sun is best. At that point they just want deals, ask for a ridiculously low price and work up from there.
