I think I'm being scammed...! what say you

Here is where I'm at ..."bowlsnapper" listed a js1200 in the classified section. We came to a price, I Paypal him money, now nothing.
I sent him PM's here, Email his home,his Facebook and evil-bay(where he also had it listed). He has ended the auction now but still no reply for 3 days. What would you do?

What I would do is NOT post on an internet forum about it and filing a claim through paypal. Try that.

I have done that as well..this is ment to be a "heads up" so someone else

That's why I never buy something on the internet. I prefer local stores because there I can see if the product is good and working well AND I can take it home myself. Having said that, I really hope you soon get what you purchased, otherwise, like yousef said, try to fill a claim or something. Good luck!

I guess he saw this post. He just sent my money back(PAYMENT PENDING). However I asked a co-worker to contact him on another Evil-ba auction of his this afternoon to see if there would be a reply. Not more than 5 mins. later a reply.
Co-worker asked why the js1200 auction was cut short. Reply was " [FONT=Arial]Oh, and I'm just so dang indecisive, I guess I was just afraid the JS wouldn't sell for enough on ****. It has sentimental value and I'll only let it go for a certain price, ya know? [/FONT]

So we then told him "I got a deal for ya...give me your ph#"
and he did. I havent called him yet and may not.
The whole time this was listed on craig$lst.
Keep in mind this all took place after I paid for It.
This is CRIMINAL.

I had a run in with him on e-bay when I went to close his VWH auction because he refused to put pictures up. He came off like a jackwad, but I didn't get the feeliing he was a con.

Oh BTW paypal now has my refund "pending " for 3 weeks..piss me off!

Or you could just buy from Rich and not get ripped off. Many of us have bought form him, and not a bad trasaction yet.

I've bought a number of guitars on the internet (right here at the ol' Jemsite) and have yet to have a problem. That's why the iTrader is such a great feature. I also look for those with tons of posts as scammers usually won't do hundreds and hundreds of legit posts just to scam someone.

Ibanez restricts what price you can show, but it doesn't restrict me from offerring free stuff with it. It's walking a fine line but MAP policy sucks, and those have to go.
