where did you order it from? if the place you've ordered it from hasnt got any in stock they can take quite a while to come..

Or you could of plain been ripped off.. unlikely though if you went with a decent company

i ordered it from a trustworthy company (local) and he originally thought it would be here in 3-4 weeks, but called ibanez and they said probably the end of march is likely.

In that case, just wait. As long as you have not paid yet, or your dealer is trustworthy, you only have to relax. it is just a matter of waiting.

If it's any consolation, I had to wait for 2 MONTHS! for a JS700 to come. Apparently it was the last in the Hosino factory. It eventually came and was (And still is) spanking! Make some phone calls, make some noise moon monkey.

Considering the price and the style of this instrument, it's not going to be produced in large numbers such as some more standard and more affordable production models. If a Jem is not in stock at the time and has to be special-ordered, backorders of a few months or more are not-unheard of.

Most stores out here in Holland only do back-orders with these types of relatively special and rare types! It's normal to wait 4-6 months for the guitar to arrive, most of the time that's a big reason not to order

I would ask the store if they're able to track it
