IBANEZFREAKSTORE -- Official Vendor Thread

Hello Jemsiters
Ibanezfreak777 here and I would like to introduce myself, and inform you about my upcomming short term Ibanez sale.

First off, my real name is Julien Cohen, and I live in Melbourne Australia. I am a guitarist of 22 years and love writing music, hotting up guitars and of course the Ibanez brand.

Some of you may be aware that a few years ago, I travelled to Thailand and found a fantastic shop in Bangkok, http://www.hongsengmusic.com/

I will be travelling again to Bangkok and purchasing some fantastic old/new stock Ibanez guitars, for future sales, and to fuel my G.A.S.

What I am proposing, is that when I finally arrive there, I will be taking photos of their rare Ibanez stock, and will be offering for a very short time, the chance for you to buy one of these rare guitars. I will be in Bangkok for a short time only and will only be offering the rare models, as the standard ibanez stuff can be bought for a much better price from other official Ibanez Vendors which can be found at the top of the jemsite page.

Please understand that although I will be doing this to help Jemsite collectors get a chance to buy a rare Ibanez, I will also be trying to make a small profit at the same time. I am on holiday, so for me to purchase a guitar and then ship it to you will take alot of work, as travelling around bangkok is time consuming, so it will cost you.

Understand that I am not an experienced guitar dealer, nor will I be getting these guitars at cost prices etc.. I am essentially dealing with a shop, trying to get the best price I can and then reselling them to a would be jemsite buyer. I already have interest from other forums I belong to. So PM me with the guitar you want and first pm for a certain model will be first in line to purchase it.

In order to not offend anyone on Jemsite, I have gone the route of paying jemsite for vendor status, and make sure I do this properly not to step on anyones toes.

Shipping will be via Fedex, as they have a location close to my hotel in bangkok. (I am on a holiday so the easier for me the better)

I wont know prices untill I get there and see what guitars they have, and for how much I can get them for. I have tried to email them and find out what is in their inventory. They managed to send me back a very short list of rare guitars they have.

Check my temporary website to see what I was told is availablewww.ibanezfreakstore.com

I am no web designer, so dont expect an amazing website. It has some info, and some pics. For anyone thats going to complain about me using photos of certain models that I did not take myself, I assure you that as soon as I get into the shop I will be taking my own photos and replacing them on my website...

At the moment I am on an Island that has limited internet access, and I am trying to get some R&R before I return to Australia from a 6 months asia working trip. So please just wait untill I post up the photos of the guitars I can get and the prices, and then ask as many questions as you like...

Thanks and even if I dont sell one guitar, I still get to buy a few myself, and stir a few emotions on Jemsite when I post up the cool guitars they have on offer...

JC

I really wish I had money, if there is anything like a 550 or something that is a good price maybe I can trade some stuff for it? I will email you later today and talk to you

Good idea though, if I had infinite funds I'd buy out all the rare stock haha

So am I supposed to do all this work on my holiday for free ?

I will charge what I feel is worth it for me to do the work, front the cash and spend my days shipping guitars and being on the internet, instead of spending time in the hotel pool which I paid money for..

I dont feel im being an A-hole for charging money to do this...

and these are rare Ibanez guitars, so if someone wants it bad enough they will pay.

If they dont , then more rare Ibanez for me..

Having to deal with the Postal service of Thailand is going to be a nightmare, language barrier first of all is the hardest. and I have no experience using the Thai postal service.
I prefer to deal with a worldwide private owned company.

So Fedex is the shipping method I will be using. Take it or leave it...

Cheers !!

Theera always refused to ship EMS. He said the postal service was too corrupt.

"Sawadikup" from Thailand I think it means hi :P

I have spent the first day going through the store, and taken as many photos as I can.

I wasn't allowed to remove the guitars from the glass cabinets to take better photos, so its the best I can do.

Price list of a few rare models..

Here is the RG-Paint 2 I bought for myself. I will post more photos when I return home to Australia....

Cheers !!

Don't pay any attention to the clown calling you an A$$hole. He is just jealous he isn't in the position to do it. He would do it if he had the chance... It's called making money and putting more food on the table!

Good luck!

MORE food on the table - maybe this is the reason there are so many obese people out there these days, all the buying and selling of guitars!?!?!
