fake
jem, i live in this country everyday, and i don't see any fakes, but i see copies
let me go through the definition of a FAKE jem
-It looks ridiculously similar to a real jem
-It has the word IBANEZ on the headstock
and for a copy
-It only has the
monkey grip
, maybe the claws
-It DOESN't have the word IBANEZ on the headstock
Please make sure you understand English properly.
Where did I imply YOU make them? I can tell you now, I didn't.
I'm not disturbing your country. That isn't possible for me to do. If I was, it would be government or police telling me off, not some twat who's drank too much coffee

I didn't make it. =P
I'm also listing it as a fake. If Ibanez does have a problem with that, they can shoot me a PM.
From Ibanez's own website:
http://www.ibanez.co.jp/world/Counte...ing/index.html
. Read the last paragraph especially.

Here's the steps you need to take to Report a fake on E bay.
1)
When you are viewing a listing that is a fake (even if it doesn't say it's real, but has a picture of an ibanez logo on the headstock), scroll to the bottom of the listing and click the
Report this item
link:
2)
Fill out the counterfeit item and select continue at the bottom:
3)
You will get the following page. This is where most people stop, but you haven't reported anything yet. Click on the
Email us
(circled link) to continue with the report item feature:
4)
That brings you to this page. Your are almost finished. Click the "send" button:
5)
And finally, your confirmation that you've completed the Report this item process:
In the uk version, we dont have that report button on the what else can u do bit. I'll sign in under usa and get to work

i would love to know where you've seen these fakes from singapore. any 3bay links? as far as i know, ive seen ONE person locally trying to sell off an individual fake JEM, clearly stating it was a copy. probably some poor sod who got scammed himself.

Re: Misrepresented & FAKE COPY JEM7s on e-bay or local stores - Made in China
Have u actually seen a fake JEM being made in Singapore? I went to **** and checked out the item. Nothing more than a decal. Or did you merely see fake JEMs being sold out of Singapore?

There may not be a fake ibanez on there at the moment from singapore, but yes i have seen them and the decal IS copyright infringment. It is breaking the law. Ibanez would not have licensed that decal. The decals are perfect for people who want to make a fake, think about it very carefully.

Re: Misrepresented & FAKE COPY JEM7s on e-bay or local stores - Made in China
I really doubt that a fake decal would imply that fake JEMs are manufactured in Singapore. It just does not make any economic sense to clone a guitar in Singapore. I have never seen one made locally. Please do not perpetuate the misconception that Singapore is a country that makes imitation guitars.

I'm sure they don't sell decals in any other countries yes?
Must be just us Singaporeans then.
I suggest you come forward with solid proof and evidence showing us some source of a "true" fake being sold out of our country.
Just because someone is selling a decal in Singapore means that we produce fakes?
Very nice conclusion.
I read a post from you saying that you saw some here in our country.
If so please tell us where this magical place is.
I'd like to pay a visit there sometime myself.
Oh yeah and by the way, going by your conclusions, check out item #7411274616, better not buy fenders in this seller's country.

Just because of a decal doesnt mean anything. There are even more available decals from more other different countries. Personally, I dont find anything wrong with replicas as long as they dont try to sell them off as the real thing althought it does go against the law.

You wally, they are passed off as the real thing. And if you don't mind them, then you have no taste what so ever.

I suggest you dont suggest anything to me, as you are not thinking clearly at all. Stop taking personal offence you freak.
I don't know what point you are trying to make, as I've looked at 7411274616 and basically, that is the same thing as I have been saying, its counterfiet and wrong, but what has the country got to do with it? I've spotted loads of fakes in my own country. I dont take personal offence, as it isnt me doing it, so why are you taking personal offence? Just cos i spotted a fake in the same county as you, well if it isnt you making the fakes, then dont worry about it. I never said you did it, did I, yet you've gone mental. Ever seen a doctor about your mind? I think you need to.

Re: Misrepresented & FAKE COPY JEM7s on e-bay or local stores - Made in China
What situation? Does anyone really care apart from those two?
They think I am generalising thier whole country, when I did not, just the sellers for selling fakes.

They are obviously wound up Ant, was just saying that you do have valid points regarding the Chinese fakes issue which winds everyone up, but maybe calling folks a freak and wally ain't the way of doing it lol.........
