there isn't a factory/ assembly plant in Singapore that makes guitars/ guitar parts. the case of any fakes being tagged as made in Singapore, is a sheer case of desperation.

if there is any individual/ organization here who insists that fakes are being wantonly made & distributed in the aforementioned country, please provide us with proof & your case will be heard.

in any case, should this matter segue into a legal outcome, be informed that jemsite would be made liable primarily- i don't think anyone here would want that to happen, as this trusted site is the foremost authority when it comes to all things ibanez. i have tremendous respect for the founders & proponents of jemsite (especially when the primary people at ibanez provide us with no means to be interactive).

if you are about to invest in an ibanez guitar/ bass that looks dubious, i'm sure there are parties here who would help you authenticate the ware- which is what this site is for; people helping people out.

I don't think anybody could ever be bothered to make a case, apart from Ibanez. So how do you know there isnt a factory there? Been everywhere have you? It's like the police saying there isnt an illegal drugs factory here, when there bloody well is

I have done my best to explain my views on the matter as have others. You on the other hand seem to think that this is some kind of joke that can that swept under the table. If you chose to ignore the facts then thats your problem. 1. If it matters to you, then you'll be moved to make a case. i see that you're content with just having a say here.

2. Singapore is small country- 647 square kilometers to be precise. there isn't a cavernous or deep forested area to be making guitars in hiding. perhaps there are such cladestine places in your country?

3. Jemsite would be liable for propagating slanderous/ defamatory remarks.

Jemsite would not be liable for anything, get real. There isn't anything worth being liable for. At the end of the day, it falls upon deaf ears.

All this place is, is a forum, where people view thier own opinions.

I'd like to see someone try and make a 'your liable' case.

Would be rather amusing, almost as amusing to see how showing one listing has made someone mad, made them think thier whole country is being branded. Maybe it's the language barrier? Perhaps, or just a plain old case of not reading things properly.

First of all derogatory comments are not allowed on jemsite so please refrain from calling people 'freak' or 'wally'

Secondly You might well be proud of your country but just because an accusation that a fake is made in your country should not be taken as a personal insult to you.
There are lots of criminals in every country in the world but that does not mean that everyone on here is a criminal.
