Re: Misrepresented & FAKE COPY JEM7s on e-bay or local stores - Made in China

I purchased a fake jem from ioffer for $275 bucks. It took almost 2 weeks and i thought this guy might have just taken my money and ran off with it, but finally I got it!!! man it's a sexy looking guitar, it feels and sounds really good.I've been playing it all weekend I cant put it down!! I know few people complained of buying fake jems and said they have been made up of cheap parts , but I don't know if it was because i bought it from this specific dealer but this is a real high quality for the price. I'm sure the really thing is better, but you know what they say fake it til you make it.
I am really happy with it. My friends are jealous because my fake Jem looks better and sounds better than their "real" fenders and gibsons in my opinion.
I'll post an update in a few weeks to see how this baby will hold up as far as wear and tear aspect is concerned.

He hit me back with this..

"OK, I'm a reasonable person, what are you talking about, please tell all thanks, Joe"

I guess Rich and I were not the only ones that told him. I sent him a nice little explanation about the number of fakes on the bay and how to tell. I asked him to change the description as well.

It took somebody else to confirm that I wasn't trying to con him with ulterior motives?! He was nothing more than a dismisive jackhack with me.

Yea, but I always get the majority of the abuse back from these "jerk" sellers that don't like the message. I have no idea how this guy has maintained a 100% rating.

I don't even send notes anymore, just report them to ****. I tried to be nice and usually get the same response you got.

Glad to see there still some members with the hutspah!

Reporting them does nothing, they never get closed unless they've stated it's a replica or fake.

That is so retarded.

I would rather them say it is a fake then list it as real. I report them, but like you said, the auction never comes down.

It's fun to see how hot and bothered the seller is about Pay-Pal supposedly being a scam while he's selling a counterfeit guitar.

All he's done is change it to a private auction so any high bidder can't be warned. He just proved his intention is to be a scum sucking thief.

Re: Misrepresented & FAKE COPY JEM7s on e-bay or local stores - Made in China

It was a private auction when I first sent him the note last night. Fake guitar aside, I would not bother with someone that won't take paypal, and has a private auction. The seller could be totally legit, but that screams scam.

If it was private I missed it, it had no bids at the time, but he's also been told by 3 members now and evidently hs no plans to change the description.
