Re: Jaden Rose - guitarworkshop-uk.com OFFICIAL THREAD

Lovin the new thing mate, great job and re the 7 I'll have it if its up for grabs I have PM'd Ya. Also could i suggest you put some close up photos of some of your bodies on the routing in the claw and the neck screws and other intricate bits because I had someone contact me (a none member) via email?? (how? I must have put it on here somewhere) regarding me having one of your bodies already and did i have some close ups of the routing i could send him?

The new idea must have taken plenty of time, it has a almost optical illusion effect on my eyes. great work.

I instantly thought of M. C. Escher's tessellations.

Cool stuff Jaden. I was talking more along the lines of your own kinda body design, straying from the RG/Jem style bodies. Somethin' to really set you apart from the other vendors here.

these are M.C. Escher Symmetry Drawings:

http://www.mcescher.com/Gallery/gallery-symmetry.htm

A Tessellation is really nothing more than a Symmetrical pattern that doesn't have a beginning or end. The guitar pattern is 2 Tessellations, but in and of itself can't be considered a true one because they overlap themselves.

Re: Jaden Rose - guitarworkshop-uk.com OFFICIAL THREAD

Well chaps, I got a pretty dangerous loking RG style guitar completed today.
only difference is its a S-S-S layout using virtual vintage dimarzios.
the body is finished with sealer and wax and is ash, maple and purpleheart. the neck is a 5 piece maple/purpleheart laminate with an ebony board and offset dots.
finished off with tigerwood knobs. I have to change a couple of details and its 100% - I left the cavity covers off for the pics to show the electrics off a little, all copper tape and dimarzio gear in there.

anyone fancy one ?

wow, that's gorgeous. i like that it's fixed bridge, that's pretty much what i've been wanting, only 22 frets instead.

needless to say its been quite difficult to maintain that kind of pace and something has had to give, my choices were.
1. stop making guitars for anyone but myself and keep it as a hobby only
2. quit my day job and put all my efforts into trying to make some fookin cool custom guitars to sell to folk like you.

I chose option 2
if I cant take a risk now after what my family has been through the last couple of years, I never will.

so, look out for a lot more activity in my official thread here and maybe now ill also have time to update my website.

this of course also means that many projects will be completed in a much more timely fashion including a really nice one that im doing for a member here at the moment - look out for pics, again on the official thread.

just thought I would share that with you all here.
