It would be a good price for the person selling it, not for the person purchasing it.

you're telling me that 1650 is a bad price for the person purchasing it with a case. those things are going for 1800 right now w/o a case

Check Rich's used (sold) page. A typical price was $1,100 to $1,200, with a case and a first rate set up. Shop it around for awhile and you'll be a lot less thrilled over a case-less $1,650.

Yeah but why have a BRAND NEW one when you can have a mint condition used one for about $600 less??

And they come up quite regularly too.

Just food for thoughtI bought an brand new(used but hang tags and 2 hours of play) 7VSBL with case for 900.. I could get a New from store 7VWH for 1650 so yeah it seems high when there are alot of mint Jems out there that still have plastic on for 1100-1200

Some people like new guitars

I'm $15 higher, with the locking stud mod and shipping. [price raised because of the insane nut heights on vwh's]

Yes it is. However, the place you buy it makes a big difference. Check the IbanezRules banner at the top of the page, and you'll get more than just a new guitar tossed in a new case.
