That's a pretty closed minded view... and technically incorrect... but mostly closed minded about a brand not being a brand because they release varying models of quality... made in different locations...

Well, I have a FP2, 70V and 777Lng and I think that my Fp2 is built better than my other 2... In the past I used to own 777vbk, 777vsk, UV7Pwh, Uv77Mc, 77Fp and 77Bfp and the FP2 does compare advantageously to the older vintage Jems... You might have gotten a bad one...
