Jem7VWH for $150 on HC???

I thought I'd seen it all... until today. Some guy was selling this guitar, which he bought for $2900 BTW, for only $150. Yes, I too thought it was meant to be $1500, but his add on Harmony Central definitely clarified it. And it was a 2003 model, just 2 months old to boot!!!

Surprisingly, he hasn't responded to my e-mail.

Maybe not a hoax, exactly. It reminds me of an old joke.

Some guy walks into a bar, orders a beer, and the bartender says "Five cents, mate." So the guy, a little bewildered, hands over five cents and gets his beer. Someone else walks in, asks for a beer, bartender says "Five cents." Someone else rocks up to the bar and orders a round of drinks for his ten mates. The bartender says "Fifty cents, buddy." So the first guy asks him "What's going on? How come beer is only five cents?" The bartender says "Well, I just found out my wife is cheating on me with my boss. Right now he's at my place, so what he's doing to her, I'm doing to his business."

My brothers boss picked up a mustang saleen, brand new, for $5,000. It was from a woman who put up an add in the local newspaper, and when he asked why the price was so low, she said she divorced her husband, got his car, and is just getting rid of it. But, my guess is that the guitar is a hoax.

A member here bought a Burst from Tommy Keifer's ex-wife for a song [after Chinnery had rejected it for changed pots] because she knew it would get back to him and really piss him off
