Well he apparently used this 'store' to send the guitar, the actual guitar I purchased was this. Never received it obviously and currently down over $1,500 plus over $200 which is unattainable as my PayPal account has been frozen; the seller provided PayPal with that fake receipt (posted on page 2 of this thread) and PayPal decided to freeze my account while they 'investigate'. It's been over a week and I can't get them to reply to me. In total I've lost nearly $2,000 and months of my time.

I'm sure he just dresses like one. Still hasn't responded to my emails, I even sent him a link to this thread so he can come and post here to clear his name. I would assume if he was innocent he would do everything to clear his name, but I guess he isn't.

The bank told me to wait about 45 days before they can provide me with any solid answers (assuming they get back to me), PayPal have frozen my account with just over $200 sitting in there because they feel the receipt the seller supplied them was adequate proof the guitar was shipped to me (even though I called the store and they have are not operational - don't have an actual location!). It looks like I won't be getting any money back in the short run.

The seller hasn't bothered to respond to any of my emails and I'm planning on calling him (with a Lawyer, during his business hours); he needs to be aware that his unprofessional conduct cannot be tolerated and I doubt he will be back on these forums under his current account.

According to my understanding of paypal rules proof of shipment is not good enough. The seller has to supply a tracking number accessible by computer and it would have had to be sent with signature on delivery due to the amount (over 200.00) If the seller did not provide this it should be an automatic decision in your favor.

My account hasn't been unfrozen until they get back to me with their final decision; PayPal "are investigating the current dispute X####", they have asked me to confirm my address and details (I have) and are waiting on more communication from the seller; the dispute has been escalated so in the short run I won't be touching my account. I'm not sure how long they take to investigate both sides (I've already provided them with all the requested details) so I'm assuming it will be a little while longer for them to unfreeze my account.
