Large lot of Petrucci Guitars

Anyone else spotted these? I think that may well be Johns ebay ID. I would kill for that double neck though!

They are from JP's personal collection. Don't know if it's actually JP or a friend running the auctions.

There's more info on the forums at http://www.johnpetrucci.com

That is a pretty damn cool collection - it will be interesting to see what they fetch. That double neck is pretty cool, and so is the swirled JPM.
Some veeerry nice guitars there.

This might just be a private owner, didn't he sell all his Ibanez through his site when he got the EBMM deal?

Nope, it is confirmed @ JP's site that it's JP's lot and his wife is selling them for him. They are his descriptions though.

Thats what I thought, I thought he sold all of his Ibanez ages ago. I destinctly remeber reading that he has no Ibanez left. Or very few anyway. I agree, I dont think its him, its probably a collector.

But whos gonna pay $3,500 for a JemPBK when he hasnt stated any evidence that it was owned by Petrucci himself. Theres no photos or nuthing. I aint denying hes telling the truth, he probably is - but there is no real evidence.

If he had some real evidence he would probably get a few bids on those guitars ya know.

Where's that? There's nothing in the news section of his site saying that.

Seems it is JP selling them then. I read he sold almost all his Ibanez but kept a select few. I guess he is selling the rest now. I just wonder why he feels the need to sell them all now?

That's got to be one of the worst auctions I've seen.

Crappy pictures, crappy description (DiMarzio pickups?! John! Got any clue which pups you got in there?)

No special certificate or letter certifying authenticity....So why the low profile? Some can't sell clause in the old endorsement deal?

Probably only a handful of people thought (or hoped) it was legit until confirmation on the JP site

Exactly. There wont be too may people jumping at those auctions any time soon. Some degree of authenticity would get them loads of bidders!
But its up to them!
