It does look a bit funky in that shot doesn't it? It's mainly because of the lighting. It's just where the two different pieces of wood are bonded. It actually is quite a nice neck. Here's a shot with different lighting.

Re: Legacy One Guitars OFFICIAL THREAD
Hey all. Long time reader, first time poster.
Anyway, I've got a 1988 S540 and it has one of the best playing necks I've ever used (second only to my
Parker Fly
). I recently purchased a new Ibanez RGT42FM in the hopes of getting a 24
fret guitar
that played as well as my S540. I found out to my dismay (as I would have known ahead of time had I done my research) that Ibanez changed the shape of their necks and the new Wizard II necks are not nearly as good (IMHO).
So, long story short, I've decided to build my own dream guitar. Looking for a neck I torn between buying a vintage Ibanez wizard neck or getting a new neck from Legacy One. I asked John about the specs of his necks and he gave me this info:
Scale: 648mm / 25.5"
Width @ Nut: 43mm
Width @ Last Fret: 57mm
Thickness @ 1st Fret: 17.5mm
Thickness @ 12th Fret: 20 - 20.5mm
Radius: 508
According to my research the Wizard and Wizard II have the following specs:
WIZARD
Scale: 648mm / 25.5"
Width @ Nut: 43mm
Width @ Last Fret: 56mm
Thickness @ 1st Fret: 17mm
Thickness @ 12th Fret: 20mm
Radius: 430
WIZARD II
Scale: 648mm / 25.5"
Width @ Nut: 43mm
Width @ Last Fret: 56mm
Thickness @ 1st Fret: 19mm
Thickness @ 12th Fret: 21mm
Radius: 400
So, according to the numbers, the Legacy One necks seem very similiar to the original Wizard necks (although according to the radius they seem to be a lot flatter). My question is: could anyone who has actually played these necks confirm or deny the fact that they actually FEEL like the original Wizard?
Thanks.

Re: Legacy One Guitars OFFICIAL THREAD
I want and IBAN ED
I seen your guitars on your webpage and i think they are master peices. I was wondering how much it would cost to build a
custom IBANEZ
.
with these specifications
1.matching head stock that says IBANEZ CUSTOM made from perl plastic or the cheapest perl you can get. I was wondering if you could make the headstock logo look like the
ibanez USA custom
name
2.A JEM body made from maple with a heavy duty finsh. So it doesn't dent easily
3 a HSH pickup confiuration. the brigde pick up sound be the one used in the ibanED model. and the other two should be nice and blusy pickups.
4.A metallic aqua blue paint job on head stock too
5. one of those JEM briges standard natural chrome
6.five way swich and two tone and one volume or whatever the JEMs confiuration fo that is.
7.a metallic silver prickguard a cheap one but quality made
8.the fret board should be stainless steel and the vines of life in (perl) white like the head stock.
, i was wondering how much all this would cost iam am willing to spend about 2000$CND for this guitar if you can make it possible with my budget it would be great
Can you ship to canada?

Re: Legacy One Guitars OFFICIAL THREAD
Big NO, NO on the logo. Sorry. I can do everything else, but I don't apply logos. You can buy them on evil bay or wherever you can find them and apply it yourself, but I can't do it.
Everything else is no problem. P.M. and we can work it out.
Thanks.
