LNG for Nearly $4000! It's not even close to mint!

I watched a mint one sell for less than this one. I just don't understand where the logic of the buyers in the UK has gone.

I was watching this one - assuming it's the one where the buyer stated that they had no idea what it was worth. Have to say I found that a bit hard to believe and the bidding was a bit iffy on that.

Same (newly registered) bidder hoiked it up from £500 to £1000 in one go and there were no automatic bids going on.

I looked this morning and it was gone, as in disappeared off evilbay, 40 minutes before the auction was due to finish and no, it hadn't ended. Just gone!!

Yeh that was the one. How come it just dissapeared? Usually there is at least a message to say **** have removed the listing. I think he was caught shill bidding, most probably cause for it dissapearing.

Yeah, I called BS on this one. How could he have internet and not even try to look up what they sell for? Sham I say.

I think you're right but I don't know what safeguards @bay have in place to stop this sort of thing.

Seems to me a pretty simple task to create multiple accounts (and use a proxy if needs be) or get a mate to bid up your own item. If you (or he) should happen to win it, then you can just relist and say the buyer defaulted.

I'm probably suspicious by nature but when I see the bidding on an item jump up more than the minimum required (and with no interim automatic bidding) it does make me question why

A customer of mine bought one for about $3500 from the States just before Christmas.

Apart from needing a good strip and setup and the manky board needing cleaning it was VERY tidy! 9.5/10

And the "don't know what its worth" is either

a) a con
b) a total d1ck
c) both
