So, it seems I've got some bad gas for my next project. Instead of doing the ESP thing like I planned on since there's a good risk of getting ****ty wood, I'm gonna use an Agile Septor instead. Now, unfortunately, this would be a lot easier to do if they came in the color I wanted (seen here :
http://www.crwflags.com/fotw/images/j/jp-13.gif) but they only have blue quilted or whatever, and black flame. Which mean I'm gonna have to repaint it.
Along with that, the whole 'no inlay' thing kills me. I can play without them, but to me it's more comforting to have them actually there. Which leads me to adding either just inlays to the ebony fretboard, or just flat out replacing it for what could be the same cost (plain maple with black dot inlays).
Is there any good vendor that could do this together for something that's not ridiculously expensive? It's seems that to just do a solid paint coat is $200 plus shipping to send it out to them
