Looking for Canadian online guitar/parts store

Hi,

A relative of mine is coming over to the Netherlands this year from Canada (BC).
I'd like to profit from the current EUR-USD rate and cheaper prices on your side of the ocean and have him bring some stuff in his luggage.

I'm looking for a Canadian store where I can order Dimarzio pickups and possibly gotoh tuners and a good fixed bridge for my JS6 guitar project.
I'd like to pay using my creditcard and have them sent to my uncle in BC.

Anyone know a trustworthy store that I can use for this?

thanks

Re: Looking for Canadian online guitar/parts store

I'm not sure there is a Canadian store dedicated to this, as when I was looking for trem inserts I got directed to US suppliers, but he can easily order from the US. The US-CAD exchange id pretty favourable for us here as well, and most stores would ship to Canada without any problem and little extra cost. It might take a bit longer though...

Re: Looking for Canadian online guitar/parts store

Depends on what kinds of parts you're looking for in specific. I dunno which shops in BC would carry 'em but I manage a guitar shop in downtown Toronto and am able to get practically any part you need. (I try to stock a lot of guitar parts since I do a lot of repairs and mods at the shop). However, it may be cheaper to find a dealer in BC since you'd be paying for shipping from Toronto to Vancouver.

But if you're ok with the shipping there's almost nothing I can't get at my shop. (Mind you, I don't own the place, I just manage it and do all the repairs). The site is at http://www.msmdj.com but there's no parts listed there, I developed the site but passed on filling the database to one of my new guys. However, the contact info is there. Hope that helps.

(note: I usually don't refer people to my shop, but if I get enough inquiries about guitar parts & J-Customs I can convince the boss to do some direct imports as well as stock more parts)
