Looking for Javashred.

Anyone had contact with him lately? I still haven't received the 770 yet and am feeling a bit woried. The item was supposedly shipped last Tuesday and should have arrived a few days ago, but still no word on it. If anyone has any information, it will gladly be appreciated

Regards,

Imran

Thanks. It might be that, but Javashred has 0 trader rating so I'm in a bit of a predicament right now.

Re: Looking for Javashred.

DId u pay him with paypal??? If u did... dont even worry... just call em... tell em that you bought something from the internet and he didnt send the item .. They r gona give you ur money back.

IF u paid with money order or personal check... thats a tough one... you ll have to eat it .. or call the cops in that town and see whats up... it happened to me .. and the guy was ripping ppl off.. i got my money back.

But dont trip.. give it at least 15 business days.

Good luck!

I paid through Paypal and have filed a complaint against him before when there was no respnse from him for a few days, so I'm not going to take any drastic action just yet. Chris told me it was insured. I'll wait until the end of this week. Thanks.

Hopefully, you'll get it soon. I think it's just a matter of a few more days.

Thanks for the input guys. I'm keeping my fingers crossed as I'm typing now (on my left hand, mind you). I've got lots of tremolo-heavy songs just begging to be played once she arrives.

Re: Looking for Javashred.

Where is Javashred from? How did you have the guitar shipped? If he's from the US, Canada, UK, etc, and he sent it to malaysia any method rather than overnight I'm not surprised you haven't gotten it yet. When sending stuff through the mail, even when paying for express which should be 5 days, it can take up to 3 weeks. Particularly at this time of year. If you were trying to save shipping costs and shipped it out ground it can take 6 to 8 weeks.
Having said that, have you emailed javashred and has he replied to you? communication is key.
Also, paying with paypal doesn't mean squat if they don't offer buyer protection on the method the item was purchased. They offer buyer protection on **** purchases, and I believe they do on verified to verified accounts, but nothing else, if it was purchased as "goods - non ****" I doubt there was any buyer protection. Don't use paypal if you think they'll cover you no matter what, I got screwed out of $1000 on paypal and they wouldn't give me anything back. That was as a seller, not a buyer, it was for work on an instrument and the buyer used a fraudulant credit card.

Re: Looking for Javashred.

I believe Javashred is from the US, and the item was sent by USPS Airmail Parcel Post if I'm not mistaken. My dad's emailed him already and is still waiting for his reply.

Re: Looking for Javashred.

If I remembered correctly, his email went something like this:

Guitar has been shipped as promised.

Funds have still not cleared my bank account.

Doesn't seem that fishy, since the funds haven't been cleared.
