My ridiculous experience with InstrumentExchange.com
Well, I should have looked at the opinion of jemsiters before I bid on an RG at IE.com, but I did it.... I bid the minimum bid, waited it out, and won, only to find the "48 Hr."(LOL)auction clock restart itself, and then keep ADDING minutes as each minute went buy that no one else bid. Apparently, the reserve, or minimum bid was a trick to get an auction going, but no one bit. The irony is, in my opinion, that even had I bid $10,000 we would still be at this impasse, as apparently no one else wants this ****ty guitar, and there have been no other bids so far- HOURS PAST THE AUCTION"S END!!!!! I am really steamed, and have sent a barrage of emails to IE.com and to the seller in increasingly less forgiving tones, and have received not a single response.... What the ****? Either sell it at auction- or ****ing don't!!!! Don't ever bid on an InstrumentExchange.comk auction, as it is pretty much a scam. I like how it says that when you bid you are entering into a legally binding agreement to purchase the instrument, however, this apparently doesn't apply to the seller! Has anyone had this type of experience?
