My UV777BK neck is being held

It's currently at HM customs and excise and they are refusing to release it,apprently after talking to parcel force at length,i'm going to be charged £100 to release it as it's retail value is considerably above what i have paid W**k*rs,there a law unto themselves i guess

I'm not happy,And customs are absolutely no help what so ever,In fact refusing to tell me they actually have it,all i get is pushed form pillar to post and no answers

Happy bloody xmas to me

Pay it, get your neck, then fight. Protest in every way possible, it's a used neck, right? Have them backup their claims.

I complained about a customs charge and got a refund by cheque after sending them copies of emails showing exactly what I had paid for the item.

Thats the point,They won't release it :-( I'm not sure of the legality of it,But i read it like this ... "if WE(customs) dont want it in the country,We don't have to let it in"

I'm really irked,They said they would release it at 11am ... Suffice to say,It's still being held

I don't understand why they'd keep a guitar neck out...i know it's kinda pointy and all, but really...could you really use it as a weapon? or for anything unsavory (besides maybe playing bad music).

what could possibly be their motivation?

Dunno dude,You tell me? Phoned customs again,to see wtf is going on,And lo and behold they have let parcel force ship it to me ... So i thought,A quick ring to Parcel force with tracking number,And No i'm sorry Customs have'nt cleared it yet,Phone customs,Enquire as to why they still have it,No they don't ... Now it's f**king missing and neither will take responability,I also enquired why i had been charged 27% duty on the neck,Only to be told,You have to pay the duty on the postage as well ... Ever get the feeling your being stitched up ... Formal complaint has been mailed to them

So,merry fudging xmas ... Every deal i try and work out just recently has been sold when i said i'll have it,Gone missing in the post or just quite literally,Sorry i'm not selling anymore

Sorry for being a lil pi**ed off, most of you know me to be a little calmer,i'm just well and truely f**ked off with being messed and d**ked around

I wonder if any of the customs officers have a UV with a broken/missing neck...

Sounds like you've had a load of crap luck lately! Do you want a pic of the Breed too to cheer you up?

Yeah Hex ... Mail me pics of the breed :-)

UPDATE:

It's officially lost in coventry,tw*ts,SO i have just been on the phone,And complained,And have started an investigation as to the where abouts of my parcel,Parcel Force chap i spoke to was ever so helpfull (i know,it shocked me too) but he can't garentee that i'll get an immediate response,Althou i did say i'm willing to come up to coventry and search through the warehouse myself ... At which point he laughed,I told him i was'nt joking and would charge Parcel force and Customs a one off £50 handling fee for me to work on their behalf ... Strangly he said,Thats ok (althou i think he was just humouring me)

So it gets worse,That and i've a massive phone bill and water bill in,i'm skint until my auctions close later today

I f**king hate this time of year at the best of times,And it seems this year shall be no differant ... Anyone got any edge trem saddle intonation screws they want to donate?

lol

that sucks so much for them to do that to you. For them to lose it is totally irresposable, lol i think you should go down to the warehouse anyway.

It's arrived ... Kind of

Signed for this morning, and then upon opening it's dented and cracked with un seated frets chips off the hedstock, and some nice dents in the fretboard,I know these were not there at the point of posting from the seller,so now i have to go through the claims process

I must have been a right evil git in a previous life to derserve this ****e
