Re: New auctions to laugh at

lol, I love how hes like:

"What we have is an unbelievable almost mint 1963/64 Stratocaster and 1964 Fender Bandmaster amplifier IN THE ORIGNAL FENDER FACTORY CARTONS"

then its:

"The owner actually played this guitar a bunch in the 60's. I have tons of pics of the owner playing this combo with his band "

then

"The only issue with the guitar are several tiny touch ups on the edges" and "There is a tiny bit of fingerboard wear on the first two frets"

and the fact that theres a bunch of dings/scrapes on the back between the neck plate and the trem cav cover.

Yeah, Near Mint my ass

And the last early NM 60's strat on the Antiques Roadshow was only apprasied for I think like around $8-$12k..

act now and for only $100k you can have a 65' strat that SRV played!! 7423568531

HAHAHAHA. What a joke. You're right, mint my a$$, that things been heavily used and dinged up all over. And who cares if SRV played it? That doesn't make it a better guitar. I think he meant to put 100,000 yen - about $900.

Er, yeah, that price is realistic. A real big market for these.

Uhhhh, yeah, it's a "new" guitar in the factory box (minus the case of course, but let's use the MSRP as if it wasn't?) and "opened only for pictures and inspections", but golly gee Wally how did that WHITE pickup selector switch knob get on there? Classy.
