Neal is one of my heroes ( I met him back in 1981) but even If I had the money Id never spend 30K for that guitar....

Yeah, that
monkey grip
is big enough to drive a truck through and what the H3LL is that fruity paint job? And the Ibanez sticker is totally out of position on the headstock. The pickups and bridge look like cr@p too.

It's a nice looking guitar but that certificate of authenticity looks totally phony like it was printed on someone's home inkjet printer. And even if
Neal Schon
did use it, his following isn't near enough to make a guitar worth much more imo.

Er, yeah.
1) It looks ratty as hell but it's described as being "in extremely good condition".
It looks like a pawn shop special.
2) What fool would give this kind of money to someone with only a 10 rating on the bay?
3) And the fact that it was refinished in 1981 reduces it's value as a true vintage or collectable big time.

Hence my remark...It NOT worth it BY A LONG SHOT...maybe 4500 to 6500 but anything over 8000 must be very special, collectable or have some value in the star department , but Neal Schon will never command 35K...for an axe...
BTW is it me or lately evil bay has way too much 7vwh and mirrors? (MR)
