This guy needs a *touch* less caffeine before he types his auction notes.
That's a extremely confusing and misleading listing - somebody will bid thinking they're getting the flame guitar - bastard !!

Too expensive, but a sweet guitar none-the-less.

$1700 is way high IMO, but what the hell do I know.

Not way to high but a bit high. 1200-1300 USD had seemed more appropriate.

"No words can explain this guitar!!!!" Hmm, how about "Jem 555" for starters... Not sure that I would start the bidding at $1000, seems a bit steep for a start...

I have no taste so I will say that I think it looks kinda cool (sans pickguard).
And it's cheap.

Re: New auctions to laugh at
Perhaps you'd prefer the $1,500 and $2,200 "bomber art" MIK RG's that are also up for sale? It kills me that these guys think a paint job adds $1k to $1,500 to the value of a low end axe.
Don't get me wrong. I love custom paint jobs, but that's TOTALLY unrealistic.

The only thing more absurd than the price (there are also people selling stop tailpieces and backplates from old LP's for thousands as well) is the notion of someone actually paying as much as the cost of a one-karat diamond for a freaking pickup.
