check the story....made for 'Uncle Ralph'...possibly of a pizza parlor in Tampa!

I'm almost positive this was Ralph Santola's (former Death guitarist) axe, and I think it was featured in a Soundtank ad around '93.

Based on Steve's curtains when he was a child.

At least that's a new one for the BFP

I've heard his livingroom, parents livingroom, his studio for the FP.

Jeez those pics look kinda familiar

Caprile: Yeah, I remeber him playing that exact guitar in the vid for "The Philosopher".. Damn, if it wasn't painted like a flag I'd want it... Reverse headstock, no single coil, and 'teeth'..

Bamm
I especially liked that monster-sized speaker in it. Sure to give you some gut pounding bass response.

Personally, I think they're pretty ugly too.

Not a laugher, just curious - did these ever come with pup mounting bezels? I've always seen them without 'em, direct mounted.

That's odd with the pickup mounting rings. And it looks like the body has a clearcoat on it (supposed to be matte), and the volume knob doesn't quite match up to where it's supposed to be (that little curve in the graphic). Could it be a customized USA Custom? I can't see anything but that 1 picture- my browsers hate that iPix crap.

I agree - all the P1/P2/P3/P4 's I've seen were direct mounted. And as someone pointed out - it sure doesn't appear to have a P4 matte surface.

Kind of fishy if ya ask me. Maybe Rich can comment (type 'B' for bogus, 'O' for ok).
