Re: New auctions to laugh at
Thats easy, ask her what she was looking to get and work on a middle ground. But we arent talking little old ladies, were talking greedy basters.
I understand about buying and selling etc.. Its not lost on me. Gouging should be met with blunt weapons =) It only serves to jack up the market and bring prices higher.
Reselling it at $3k would be about right.

You mean...
"Hey, how much do you want for this>?"
"Oh, a hundred bucks?"
"Hmm... I'll give you $150,000 for it..."

Hey guys, email this guy and tell him it's fake. I did; he seems honest enough, but just won't believe one random guy.

Re: New auctions to laugh at
Number 280178278099, it's a Prestige RG3120TW and his description reads,
Custom built Ibanez from factory! Model Ibanez RG3090.
Body: Mahogany body/Teal flame maple top, with a 5pc Wizard Prestige thru-neck.
Rosewood fingerboard
with jumbo frets.
Neck PU and bridge pickup are both DiMarizo IBZ.
Floyd Rose Tremolo
with whammy bar.
Hardshell airplane case
This guitar is mint condition and very rare. This finish has been discontinued by Ibanez and is a truly beautiful guitar.

Is there a way to report this clearly misleading auction?

That's just silly. I sent a question to the seller. We'll see what the response is - if any. Hopefully whoever bid on this will read the fine print.
