Good Grief! $111,500 because it has the "002" on it? And Joe's signature does not increase the value IMO.

Not only that one but, have you seen the other moron that's trying to sell his 10th for $9500 bones just because Joe signed the guitar below the trem and doodled the back of it? What a f'ing idiot.

Funny, I saw that today and had a nice chuckle. Looks like someone has been playing with Photoshop

The description talks about the FP then switches to a S620EX.

Not sure where to begin on this one. Read the description and then try to decide which is worse - this guy's ego or his apparent lack of knowledge about Ibanez gear. He doesn't even know what parts he's got on that thing. Says it's RG550 parts, but the body isn't a 550, and he claims the neck is a Wizard II, which also isn't an RG550. And he doesn't even bother to put the headstock decal on properly. It's custom, alright, but not in a good way.

I particularly like this part:

"THERE is nothing else you need on a guitar... it is unreal x10. I took this guitar over to guitar center in ATLANTA this past wkend and put it up against every guitar in the shop.. (they hate it when i show up to demo my guitars.. it just makes their $1,000 korean / INDO junk look like total crap) the Jem they had was a joke.. the neck was fat and the action on my Yamaha acoustic was way better. I sold 3 customs in under an hour. "

Re: New auctions to laugh at

An "Ibanez JS Vintage "1989" Bensalem,PA USA Made Guitar"... except it's a Sabre. [no auction number as it's currently live, if I've read the guidelines correctly. Will gladly paste it in, if it'd be OK.]

Sent him email with a few links to show him it's not a Radius [or even JS] body. How the input jack on a R/JS is on the edge and not angled into the front like an S. The S switch being mounted by using the big ol' plastic surround, 'cause the body is too thin for regular mounting. How the JS hadn't been introduced, yet.

He shoots back saying he called "them" direct and "the serial # refers to a js,and also by the black back plate." ... "it's a "vintage made in USA Ibanez. 768th guitar made in 1989." and: "It may have been modified but it has been traced."

WTF? Just 'cause the neck plate s/n might be for a JS, doesn't mean the body and/or neck are! Why does a Summer's Eve come to mind???
