Orett funny since they didn't make a JS till 90', and the plate numbers do not include any date code whatsoever

What a shock, hahaha. I expect he'll just put it up for $1 with no reserve and let it go. Maybe he can get $350. I've seen that guitar brand new for $299.

Sent him email with a few links to show him it's not a Radius [or even JS] body. How the input jack on a R/JS is on the edge and not angled into the front like an S. The S switch being mounted by using the big ol' plastic surround, 'cause the body is too thin for regular mounting. How the JS hadn't been introduced, yet.

He shoots back saying he called "them" direct and "the serial # refers to a js,and also by the black back plate." ... "it's a "vintage made in USA Ibanez. 768th guitar made in 1989." and: "It may have been modified but it has been traced."

WTF? Just 'cause the neck plate s/n might be for a JS, doesn't mean the body and/or neck are! Why does a Summer's Eve come to mind???
Is it wierd that it has a chrome bar on it? Also the bensalem plate doesn't really mean it was made in the USA. It does look like a nice sabre but I don't trust the guys handle "pla-urz" sounds like a compromised account to me.

WAIT Those four pics are not even of the same guitar everybody should report this guy.

LOL I saw that. I had thought about trading or selling my DY 550 so I was looking for DY 550's on there.

I'm sorry, but I am buying a real Herc swirl body before I spend that kind of money on a pickguard.

Man, Evo's in a maple boarded 550, how shrill is that thing??

320397998035 for an Ibanez Air guitar

Think of some great questions to ask the seller.

Then we should report him, perhaps? Or should the buyer learn to read the listings better on their own?

Seriously? Might want to get a proof-reader next time. Cool if it's legit, but also kinda makes you scratch your head and go, "WTF?"

WFT is right. But, looks like it's legit:

George Lynch has a new band: Souls of We that you can link to from his site:
http://georgelynch.ning.com/ The news section in the center, just below some photo viewer shows links to these two guitars:

http://www.soulsofwestore.com/PhotoG...e=Evil+Western
http://www.soulsofwestore.com/PhotoG...de=Desert+Rose

And at the Souls of We site you can also link to Lynch Mr. Scary Guitars:
http://soulsofwe.ning.com/page/lynch-mr-scary-guitars

But still. Damn. Those are some wild guitars.

Re: New auctions to laugh at

I got the Souls of We CD right when it came out. It's OK, and the guitar is tasty, of course, but I just can't get into it. Funny that Lynch is supplementing his income by customizing guitars. Totally cool concept - wish more artists would do that. Maybe something not so whacked out as these Lynch guitars, but it would be cool to have a one-off artist-made custom.
