I just found this myself and came to report it. Can't something be done? Some poor twerp has actually bid $699 for this very normal S540. Making out like it was appraised for up to $1750, that's just evil.

Maybe I should send the bidder a wee note?

actually that was me that bid with a "disposable" ebay account i have so nobody would get suckered, my fear was that it being the holiday gift giving season some poor sap might be swindled into buying it as a gift for someone else.

oh my, considering all the other illegal goings on over there at ebay i'd wager to say that using what was once a legit account to give a pre-emptive no vaseline treatment to a potential scammer an angelic thing to do. im sure philosophies will vary
