Re: New auctions to laugh at
This guy has serious balls. He claims he had a 425$ 'works set up' and I guess they overlooked setting up the intonation (dead flat).
AND WTF was up with the logo being covered in the headstock shot???

Luckily there are more god fearing guitarists than atheist guitarists in the world I guess.
I was thinking about this one until I re-read the description.

From his listing:
"Absolutely beautiful Joe Satrioni prestige 1200 guitar"
If only it was the
Joe SATRIANI
model I'd buy it

" These guitars were totally hand-made in professional custom
guitar shop
instead of guitar factory. It is playable. So you can rest assured the guitar has high quality and reasonable price."
This guy knows a lot about how this industry works....and he's selling a $3000+ (used) guitar with 0 feedback & poor quality pics.. Suspect.

LNG - another one of those "rare electric guitars" for $425.
Why would someone with 100% feedback with over 100 ratings put up something like this?
EDIT: Well I see now he added "Replica" to the title so guess that makes it OK. :/

Am I totally missing something here? There was an Indo JS20th? Was this just not US market?
I feel like every one of these I've ever seen has been expensive, but it looks like there are several auctions for these Indo versions.

J, The JS20S was the Indo version of the JS20th. The silver surfer is just artwork on this one, the JS20TH had the 3D chromed silver surfer.
They had all kinds of problems with these things. whether it be the blemish on the JS20S or the finish and chrome surfers tarnishing real bad on the JS20th. There are a lot of factory seconds out there for these.

Re: New auctions to laugh at
I have been watching this one trying to sell for the past several years. Not only is it one the the worst swirls I have ever seen but the seller claims it is an endorser guitar without any documentation. He only wants $3395 for it with a nice Sam Ash gig bag.
I just LMAO everytime I see this listed. I stopped watching it a few years ago.
