ROTFLMAO.
For reference these are white 1550 with gold hardware and were selling for £450 brand new (at GAK and CODA).

I just spotted that one myself and I mailed the guy and Ebay. Where do people like this get off doing stuff like this? The guy obviously knows the real facts! As if anyone would believe anything he said, the description is hilarious!
The best part was........"I paid $4995 for it!!" - lol
Jesus christ. Its a bloody mass-scale
production model
......or as he says, 1 of 10!
Some things still cease to amaze me!

hillarious, and total bunk. either somebody took you for a long ride or you're trying to do it to somebody else. the only thing you left out was the serial # so we could all laugh in complete conviction.
the lo pro wasn't even invented until 1991, FOUR YEARS after the first Jem was introduced, FIVE years after Vai was signed and his first custom built Jems were made.

judging from the pics, that thing has an AANJ. New type logo and RG label on headstock. I've seen these in europe several times.
'nuff said, bring on the next loser.

Its actually quite a nice guitar, and I am fond of those models with that paintjob. I have had one in the past and would love another. Its just a shame that they have to spoil it by posting stuff along with it that isnt true.
He probably would have got a fair price for that if he didnt post all that rubbish along with it!
Do ya reckon anyone would seriously fall for it?

I'm sure most of you have seen this one: 3733329044
"The only flaw is a ding on the back". Check out the pic below. Is that masking tape holding the "ding" so it doesn't fall off the guitar?

I don't know what response you've had, Rich, but he claims that he has an Ibz COA....

I am very suprised he answered in the first place. They dont usually, or if they do they arent very nice about it - hehe.
And yeah, that so called "ding" on the back of the UV777BK, it must be quite a severe one for all that sticky-tape - lol. But the first picture in that auction, the one with the UV777BK lying down in the case just makes me drool. That guitar is soooo nice, and seeing as they are cheap-ish, I just have to get one soon!

Who knows, he claims the serial # is F900013 and is "is printed in a kind of gold ink. ", and he also claims there's an "official Ibanez issued certificate" that he claims he's going to post in the auction. What a bullocks to leave that detail out of two auction listings
