Re: New auctions to laugh at

Jim777,,,what the hell? Evil bay has turned into a joke. ( duh ). What gets me is someone might actually go for it. When I see stupid Schitz like that who actually make a sale,,,I kick myself for not being the one that came up with that. Maybe I have an old pair of underwear floating around with skid marks that resemble something holy? Better start looking

Re: New auctions to laugh at

That one popular auction site has a listing for an Ibanez 7620 model year 1999 apparently never used or sold. It has a buy it now of $1,500? The 7620 is nice,,but is that an accurate asking price?

Holy crap is the good! I know it's not a Ibanez, but WOW do these guitars suck and why not think of a creative way to sell them to a loser wannabe witch or something because no guitar player would ever want such a thing. Run on sentence? You damn right!

item=7310668410

One of 12 in the world?!
I actually mailed the guy and pointed out that this was a production model for at least a year and they were all over Musicians Friend etc for a while.
He claimed that his was a different and that there were only 12, and challenged me to find another.
So I found 2 in the UK and a couple on international sites but he still said that his was different.

What really annoys me though is that some poor bidder paid £400 for it when it's probably worth a fair bit less

What, you can't see the 20 bids placed minutes appart by the same bidder??

Let's be real - these guitars do sell for over £900 anyway so do you really need to ask a mate to bid like a plonker (and risk his ID being suspended) just to bump the price in the early stages??.......

7312929094 Oh,,, I see,,, I was wondering as well. I see your concern now. Hey does that picture of the case with the pickguard and tools look "super imposed?"
This is sort sad if that is the deal here. Evil bay used to be a great tool. Now it's a great tool for theives and scammers. Such a bummer.

The dream maker guitar for $6,666.00 WTF. LOL. This jackass is trying to be the next big success on E***. Remember the lady that sold the Cane of a deceased father to pacify her sons grief of being haunted by gramps? Some casino bought it for 64,000 dollars or something like? This would more than likely have been inspired by that. I will go through the roof if it sells. I saw the other night on CNN that some dork has put up for auction the right for someone else to choose a new Middle name for him? What the hell? Reserve has been met @ $10,000. Now he may never see the money or maybe a more devious plot is going on here. This sort of crap has been getting all sorts of "Free press" so to speak. Maybe E*** is actually setting up B.S. accounts and paying these people what they are asking? Why not,,, they are raking in tons of money every minute, advertising is minimal, people see it on CNN and suddenly it has some substance to it,,,we trust the national news sort of? I know I've sat there and screamed out loud "why the hell didn't I think of that". That sort of advertising is priceless,,,,it would be worth it to some crook at E*** to pay $10,000 to give some "Ass Wrangler" a new middle name, cuz now it has given a thousand more some other hair brain get rich quick idea which may or may not be the next big item.

Gotta love a conspiracy...

This auction belongs to a friend of mine who is a regular poster here, the sale is 100% legitimate.

Art's guitar......but there was shill bidding on it and the fact that someone saw my comment, told him and he cancelled the "mexicycling" bids tells me that I'm right on the money.
