"Poor victim". You've got to be kidding. What happened to let using common sense? Do you really look at those auctions and think that for $10 or $20 you are going to get a quality neck behind that custom inlay? How could the seller make any money? And fancy custom inlay on a Les Paul copy guitar for like $230? Who's kidding who? To me this is no different than those RG and Jems that are from Taiwan and like $20 with high shipping and someone is going to whine it's not a real one? Sorry guys, I can't sympathize but fancy inlay turns me off anyway.

This is so obviously a Chinese fake it isn't even funny.

With a BIN of $1000 and all the seller's positive feedback, perhaps he really thinks this is a Jem? Or maybe he got duped and is willing to sacrifice his feedback for the money.

I'm tempted to tell him it's a fake, just in case he is on the level, but chances are it would be more trouble than its worth.

Re: New auctions to laugh at

Ok, I bit the bullet and told him, I'll probably be advised to fk myself, but I pointed out the logo wasn't right, the neck joint wasn;t right, the screw on the input jack plate weren't right and the monkey grip is wrong, I didn;t mention the lower horn didn't come to a sharp enough point, but we will see what he says.
