Vendors, Auction & Reseller Talk
Not for posting JEM/UV ads. Not for posting dealer/broker ads. Not for advertising ebay auctions. This is to chat about resellers, various gear in question, odd items or the people selling them.

"Poor victim". You've got to be kidding. What happened to let using common sense? Do you really look at those auctions and think that for $10 or $20 you are going to get a quality neck behind that custom inlay? How could the seller make any money? And fancy custom inlay on a
Les Paul
copy guitar for like $230? Who's kidding who? To me this is no different than those RG and Jems that are from Taiwan and like $20 with high shipping and someone is going to whine it's not a real one? Sorry guys, I can't sympathize but fancy inlay turns me off anyway.

This is so obviously a Chinese fake it isn't even funny.
With a BIN of $1000 and all the seller's positive feedback, perhaps he really thinks this is a Jem? Or maybe he got duped and is willing to sacrifice his feedback for the money.

Re: New auctions to laugh at
I'm tempted to tell him it's a fake, just in case he is on the level, but chances are it would be more trouble than its worth.

Re: New auctions to laugh at
Ok, I bit the bullet and told him, I'll probably be advised to fk myself, but I pointed out the logo wasn't right, the neck joint wasn;t right, the screw on the input
jack plate
weren't right and the
monkey grip
is wrong, I didn;t mention the lower horn didn't come to a sharp enough point, but we will see what he says.
