Re: New auctions to laugh at
Check this reply out when I pointed out his fakes for 7411578523
Reply as follows:
What you mean it is a fake? They are
Ibanez guitars
and as far as I know they are expensive. I bought them 3-3,5 years ago from Mars Music Shop, Boston, USA.
Do you know how can I understand if they are fake or not? Can you give me some hints on that? Also where did you get the idea by looking into pictures only?
Best regards.

Either he's a liar or he's been fooled by someone else. But then saying he got it from some shop, well, doesn't seem right to me.

That's a really funny and depressing advert. Its not as visually bad as some of the copies. Somebody who isn't well informed could well make a costly mistake
I think he got stung by a Chinese copy and is now trying to pass it on to other poor unsuspecting scmuck!!
It's not surprising that he hasn't posted the Q&A

Re: New auctions to laugh at
He replied again with this.
Reply:
Hi, thanks for the reply.
Yes but I have already did that and one of the local guitar shops here offered me £450 but i did not take it because one of my friends told me that it is a genuine and a very good model and ibanez firm does not produce them anymore. if it was a fake or something i don't think they would offer me £450.
but thanks for the warning.
best regards

Re: New auctions to laugh at
I replied back with this,
I don't think a
guitar shop
who knows what they are looking at would offer you £450. Sorry, but IT IS a fake, this was never made by Ibanez. How about you even email Ibanez with the serial number? They will confirm it is a fake. Take it to a shop and look at real ones, come and join us at
http://www.jemsite.com/forums/showth...136#post470136
and see for youself.
Also see
http://www.jemsite.com/jem/model/jem7vwh.htm
for a real one.
Unless ofcourse you know you're selling a fake and wish to decieve people.

Re: New auctions to laugh at
For item 7409724717 , I asked the seller if the photos are the correct ones, as the listing says Virtually Unused, but there are chips on the body,
just check out the reply,
Hey there, thanks for the interest in my item.
It is virtually unused. And those are the correct photos. It's just a bit of paint that flaked off in transport from one house to another, not actual chips in the
guitar body
itself. I can assure you that those are the only marks/problems with the guitar, and make no difference to the playing/sound of the guitar. If you wish, I can get the paint touched up before sending the item to you, that is, if you end up being the winning bidder?
Thanks for contacting me,
Steph

Re: New auctions to laugh at
I'd say with the paint touched up or not, the reserve is a bit high at £430. I can get it new for £530. I'd say £350 or so would be a fair price for it, so I'm not going to bother. Makes me laugh when someone sets a starting bid and then puts a reserve and tells people what it is.

Both reported
His KE2 is not a KE2 either! As far as I'm aware they are neck-thru guitars.

Re: New auctions to laugh at
Another reply for 7409724717 ,
In this case, I can assure you, the paint did flake. I'm fully aware how uncommon that is, I have had several guitars. It suprised me enough when it happened, even though it was not in it's case when transported for various reasons.
As for your concern about usage, I've never stated that it has not been used. I've said that it's virtually unused, which it is. I've used it around the house a few times when my other electric has been in for repair, but it has never been used for gigging purposes, or on a regular basis.
Bar the little flakes of paint that have come off, the guitar is in perfect condition, comes with the official hardcase, lead, and a strap. Considering this, and the RRP price I've seen, and the buy it brand new from the other **** seller (£529), I don't think that a reserve of £430 is too high at all, and therefore will not be lowering.
However, thank you for your interest in my item.
