Impressive....3bay actually pulled some bogus auctions. I did report them as counterfeit, like I've done to countless other auctions....but this is one of the few times where they actually took some action.

Maybe this is a trend?? We can only hope.

It doesn't look too bad in fairness. I'd be lying if I didn't say I wasn't initially tempted. As far as the proportions go that's about the closest I've seen on a Chibanez. The "monkey grip" wasn't designed for King Kong, and the logo actually fits (other than the JNR). Of course, it's not neon and the inlays on the lower registers all look the same for a start. (just to state the obvious)

Now that "overt" guitar playing is becoming fashionable again and the legions of "Nu-Metal" RG players have sharply dissipated, I'm sure Ibanez could justify selling a wider range of colors - it almost seems the counterfeiters are jumping on this niche by making copies of coveted Ibanez models like this 777DY. Anyway... I'm ranting now. That's probably another topic.
