It doesn't look too bad in fairness. I'd be lying if I didn't say I wasn't initially tempted. As far as the proportions go that's about the closest I've seen on a Chibanez. The "monkey grip" wasn't designed for King Kong, and the logo actually fits (other than the JNR). Of course, it's not neon and the inlays on the lower registers all look the same for a start. (just to state the obvious)

Now that "overt" guitar playing is becoming fashionable again and the legions of "Nu-Metal" RG players have sharply dissipated, I'm sure Ibanez could justify selling a wider range of colors - it almost seems the counterfeiters are jumping on this niche by making copies of coveted Ibanez models like this 777DY. Anyway... I'm ranting now. That's probably another topic.

yer ive just noticed that. the pyramids on 3,5,7 and 9 all look the same size, the bridges look more like the real deals now (bet there awful though). It still seems tempting for 160 quid even if it just sat on the wall.

Come on ibanez make some good cheap guitars to nock these guys into the oblivion. how about a jem3 with decent/cheap hardware(ie wilkinson stuff), if vintage can do it why cant you?

I would have thought more JEM333's would find their way onto e-bay. I can recall very few of them on there, yet there are so many fakes for sale from far eastern sellers.

It looks like that seller is just parting out Chibanez guitars. He's also selling "LNG," "DY," and "SBL" bodies and some crummy necks, too.
