Nice letter from buyer
As some of you may know, I tend to buy and sell plenty of gear on the bay, and when I sold my Marshall 50 watt plexi on the bay, this is the letter I got from the buyer. I hated having to sell it because it had "the sound", but I am happy to see someone get it that I know will enjoy it.

Hi Chris,
The amp came in Thursday just as you said. I won't hold you in suspense any longer. It's great, very quiet and has a killer tone. I don't want my son to hear it, because he will take it.
I'm sorry it took me so long to get back to you. I unpacked it Thursday night after work and admired it. I have not gotten a speaker cabinet yet. I let one slip away on ****. A friend of mine has a couple of old 1960's with greenbacks he may sell. I'll have to try them out. Anyway, last night my son, Edward, helped me get his Marshall cabinet out of the band equipment trailer. We took it in the house. He had to leave, so he missed the fun. I plugged my Strat in, told my girlfriend, Stacy, to hold her ears, and I let her go. It was awsome. Then I bridged the two channels like I used to do back in the day. That made it a little muddy. Then I hooked my pedal board up to run my tube screamer. Oh my gosh! It did just like you said it would. What a killer tone! I walked around the room to find the sweet spots.
Your amp has taken me back many years. I feel more like 28 instead of 48. That's a good thing since Stacy is 31. She is learning to play now. She found a Tele on **** she liked, so I got it for her.
Chris, you have obviously taken good care of this amp. I work on a lot of old Fenders, Marshalls, etc. with an old buddy of mine who was a Fender "Gold Tier" dealer before he retired. He will be blown away by your Plexi. This is definitely one we probably won't have to work on for a long time. Oh, by the way. I told him about the tubes. He is familiar with them. He was impressed.
I've wasted enough of your time with my rambling on about this and that. I'll get to **** and give you as good a review as I can. I have enjoyed our e-mails back and forth. You take care and thanks again for such a great amp.

I have no doubt that if potential buyers could have played through it first, more money would have been had.
Thats ok, every time I feel sad about it, I just look lovingly at my 2555 and I get all warm and fuzzy.
