Odd RG

Anyone ever see anything like this before?
I suppose it could be a bastardized RG. 760 body, 565 neck, replacement fretboard...

Looks like a stock RGR560 of some sort.
A few years ago you could get RGR580 in Japan so this might be something like that but apart from the reverse headstock - that thing is RG560.

Hey guys, Ilia i am surprised you missed the description "RG565" (if i recall the last 5 denotes reverse headstock)

So bog standard if somewhat hard to find RG :-)

Rob, the 565 had different pickup configuration (SH) and I've never seen a rosewood board on them but I guess they might have been available.
I'm guessing this is either a 1990 or 1991 RGR560 that was made in very few # either as a limited run or as a special order for a store somewhere.
The 565 were never available in that colour either.
It's a weird guitar but RGR560 is my best guess.

I didn't cash the cheque, it's still somewhere in my desk drawer at work.

Ok dude, And there is a 565 on the Bay too (completely differant) mapleboard, etc. So i'll go with the rgr560 too ...
