Funny, but it seems this "Sims' saga" will never end - it's always like "... to be continued"

Unfortunately I registered here on Jemsite at about the same time as I saw those beautiful pics on simscustomshop home page. You know, it takes time to get through all these posts, blogs and forums... So, long before I read this thread I have already ordered some guitar parts from Patrick Sims and completely paid this order (including shipping to Russia). Well, what can I say after having read these thirty pages... or, no - 'cause I think you guys know those few wodrs man can say in this case - what should I do? Spend another six months waiting for my guitar?
Any advice? Or do you really think my thousand dollars fell through the c**t?

Your screwed basically. Do more research before you have some do services for you half a world away.

As a fellow Sims victim, I've had enough. I'm going after this guy. If anyone is interested in joining in, let me know. I'm contacting an attorney in the same city as his shop, as a first step. I'm hopeful that if we can get enough people lined up maybe we can do something. If anyone who's been screwed is interested, send me a pm. Let's see what we can do.

Appreciate that, but let me see what happens after I talk to an attorney. May go nowhere, but I need to try. I can be very persistent and stubborn with stuff like this, without regard to cost. Call it a personality flaw. I've spent my entire adult life in the professional services business and I've never seen anything like is. He's not getting away with it. If I need to plan my next vacation in TN I will.

The last person to visit him took a cop and copies of receipts and emails.
He got his stuff back, money and reimbursement for travel.

Just FYI, Sims bought LGM guitars from the original owner (jeremy was his name iirc?).

Its good to see he may be fixing himself and making things right now.

Replying to emails isn't fixing anything--just shows he's still taking orders.
If he's trying to fix things, he'll stop taking new orders and concentrate on the past orders.

I AM LOOKING FOR AN ATTORNEY THAT WILL REPRESENT ME IN THE UK TO TAKE PATRICK SIMS TO COURT.

Does anybody know or have used a good Lawyer to sue Patrick Sims?

He has had a $1000 payment for two bodies plus a guitar worth $1500 sent for respray for nearly two years.

He refuses to answer my emails or answer the telephone.

I am extremely interested in joining other customers to pursue him jointly in court.

Hi All, I am trying to find is anyone has taken Sims to court? We sent him his Hamer and paid in advance year(S) ago. Lots of no response, then a story how he lost his business in a fire, which "seems" a bit untrue and that he was going to pay back for the guitar and the money for work. I want to know if anyone has taken him to court, I am looking to go after him for credit card fraud, theft, mail fraud or whatever we can do. I would love to let this go, but my husband just can't seem to get over the loss of this guitar. So I am seriously wanting to get this addressed. Any advice or contacts is appreciated. From the angry wife in Massachusetts
