Paypal Problems

Reason I post here is because the helpdesk of Paypal has been less than helpful.

Here's my situation.

a) I have changed my address, resulting in my shipping address being new

When I paid (last three times) for an item, I consciously changed the shipping address within paypal, because it showed the old one.

Lo and behold, when I get my "receipt", it shows the old address in the shipping address part.

Result - lots of running around trying to get my package.

Anyone have this experience and know how to prevent this from happening.

Can you get your new address verified? I think that would help greatly.

You can change your address in paypal and assign it as your verified address. Log on and go into your personal options.

thanks guys, those things i have tried.

The problem appears to be "technical" because even when I manually change the shipping address to a properly verified and setup address, it reverts to my old address.

The paypal service team cannot seem to get this.

If the payment is for an item bought on e-bay, I think you have to make sure that the verified address and the primary shipping address in your e-bay profile agree. I believe if they don't match, there's a problem.
