PMC or GMC

Just wonder if anyone have a clue if these guitars show up for sale.
Once a year ? On Ebay ?

There's an FP that's been GMC'd on the bay at the moment (might be UK site) but can't remember the last time I saw genuine ones...

Be careful if you find a GMC, there are many aftermarket bodies (tribute or fake, call it what you want) swirled in GMC style. VBK or aftermarket neck can make it hard to tell if it's the real deal or not.

Not that many fake PMCs. Good luck finding one!

Yes i have seen it. But i'd like it orginal. Could take years. But the the hunt for a new jem ( wich is exiting ) will last for a long time. It only went 3 weeks from my BFP to my FP.

The VBK neck has a pink vine stem, but the GMC has beige, that's the best tell.

They do crop up for sale, GMCs a lot more regularly than PMCs (there were nearly 100 more GMCs produced) and they tend to hit the market in batches. I presume one guy decides to sell and a few other guys' minds are made up to sell their's as well.

I've seen more PMCs than GMCs in the last year up for sale.
I don't like the ATD PMCs that much, the GMCs are better.

Those have been on there for awhile...I've eyed them up a few times I like the one with the darker swirl - very cool looking guitar...it sounds like the one with more green in it is in a little better shape it but I really like the look of the darker one...unfortunately, they're out of my price range but they are deadly looking guitars...

I agree that they are (maybe) to expensive. And i'm pretty shure they don't play better then the other Jem's i have. So it's just to decide if it's worth paying for the rarity.
