There is an auction current for a DNA.... it used to be mine and the auction uses my photos...... I sold the guitar to Merlock here at Jemsite. Barry was a great guy.... I just want to check that it is either you my friend, or that you sold it on to this dude!!

I also just want to give eveyone a heads up that those pics are mine.... the auction could well be legit.... if you are really interested in buying it, feel free if you ask him for more photos, to email them on to me and I will tell you if I took that photo or not.

Just got a mail from the seller, saying he bought them from Barry. Seems to check out. I have no desire to hinder someone's legit auction, so Feel free to delete or lock this one off Jim. Cheers guys!!!

Nothing wrong with that auction except that he is trying to make like $1500
off of it and he just bought it like a month ago!!!

Come on guys, I am a paid jem site member here and selling the DNA I bought from Barry fair and square. No funny business and my **** feedback is ridiculously good. Mods please nuke this thread has this person posted it without checking his facts first and is making my sale look shaky which it certinley is not.

I dont appreciate your post and find it offensive. How do you know what I paid for each guitar as well as import fees from Canada and international shipping? And what business of yours is it if I sell the guitar and ask the same price the last DNA on **** was bid up too? Olie you ought to rocks the 60's with that hippie attitude.

enjoy those knockout JEMS. I always loved them but could not play them because of their pristine condition.More closet guitars I did not need.On the bright side that sale helped me purchase my new baby...a 1959 Stratocaster which I can play all night long not worrying about pick marks ! I am bending her right now! Merry Xmas Brad !

They know what you paid because you've posted it in the forum combined with everybody knew what he was selling them for and you packaged them at a discount.

Lock this thread or not and the auction will still be talked about somewhere in this forum, that's what it is, Vendor, Auction, and Reseller Talk. And when somebody tries to sell a DNA for more than any others have sold for, it's going to be talked about

They have no idea what I paid for each guitar (The value I placed on them) and even if they did who cares. A big headline saying DNA Auction Caution with a frown face undermining my auction in the jemsite forums is not cool.

No different if I posted:

Ibanez Rules Buying Caution! :-( Rich Harris is selling guitars he might not actually own! CAUTION CAUTION! And (GASP) he is selling them on his site for more than he bought them for! :-( what a LOSER!

I would never feel that way as it is none of my business and I would certinley never post it othen than responding to your post above but it is the same thing my friend.

See above (maybe he didnt say loser but he certinley implied it), maybe I am overreacting but it is goofy that you get slammed here for doing nothing but trying to sell my guitar on another site all together.

That said I certinley dont think you are a loser :-) I dont even know you but your reputation is outstanding, just making a point. No offense intended and if anyone wants to see a picture of the guitar with todays paper I will post it.

Sorry that it bothers you but I call it the way I see it!!!

FYI: You are not the only one with an eb@y account around here, so it's no secret to many of us how much many Ibanez guitars go for in the auctions

so don't blame the lack of bites on your auction on this poor thread which contrary to your belief was not conceived with ill intent.

Tim was the only one a little behind the 8 ball and was just looking out for everybodies best interest. If you had shot new pictures to begin with it wouldn't have been posted, but you used the pictures that he used, and Barry used, and now, well, those are some well used pictures!
