I think it would be particularly difficult to say. The RG 550, along with a lot of other RG series guitars, usually sell at far below their actual "value", as it were. There are precious few $700 guitars that can compete with a $250 dollar RG550, so the price to value ratio doesn't really sit right with them. Now, some people care about past ownership and signatures and whatnot, and might pay a steep premium for it, but who knows? If you really want to see what the market will bear, put it on **** with a high reserve. Things are generally worth what they sell for on ****. And they don't sell any higher than they do at Christmas (I think).
