Craigslist is a haven for criminals.

I posted up on Craigslist and got an immediate reply from a guy with a Jeff Beck Strat 1st edition and a blue velvet amp - $850 (scam). Obviously, this type of sale is going to be either stolen or it's a total fraud, and that's the way they do it; they lurk and wait for someone who looks like a potential buyer and contact that person.

SevenString.org is a cool site. I didn't even know about that one. I've wanted a seven string for years.

Thats great to hear man congratz. Its great when people get their prized instruments back. Especially an RG8670 of all things

If someone stole my RG520QS (my first guitar, and my first ibanez)........... they would be in so much agony that death would be a relief.

Whats the condition like? no extra scratches and chips i hope?

All things considered, I'd rather have my 8670 stolen than my FA-100.

I don't think we'll get much more info on this. It might be a sad story anyway.
