Sup guys, i recently posted a guitar on ebay *im sure u know the one i was trying to trade ito n here for awhile with offers falling thru* read this email and lets vote on who thinks this guy is a really bad scammer

ADDRES,STATE,CITY,ZIPCODE,AND YOU PHONE NUMBER CAUSE
ALL THIS INFORMATIONS WILL BE REMITED ON THE CHEQUE I
WILL BE SENDING TO YOU.ALSO THE CHEQUE THAT WILL BE
SENT TO YOU IS AN OVER DRAFTED CHEQUE .WHY THE CHEQUE
IS OVER DRAFTED IS CAUSE AFTER,YOU MAY HAVE CASHED THE
CHEQUE YOU WILL SEND THE EXCESS FUNDS TO MY SHIPPING
AGENCY THEY WILL BE THE ONE TO COME AND PICK UP THE

See thats what i was thinking, i dont understand y i shoudl go thru ALL That bs...when he can send me the money can i can goto ups and have them package perfectly fine and have them ship it to wherever. And also do you like how he never gives me the addie the guitar is susposed to goto? Just that he will have someone pick it up? Nice huh.

Very old scam.
Fake cheque for a lot more money than the item is worth - say $7000 and you only want $1000 so you send this guy the $6000 and the guitar and 5 weeks later your bank calls you and tells you that the cheque was fake - so you are out $6000 and your guitar.
Don't even bother replying to this joker.

Yeah i told him he can either send me a money order or paypal, once i have the cash in my hand I would ship the guitar TO HIM. I havnt heard back from him sense...lol.

You don't seem to get it. Any draft, money order, cashiers check, ANYthing he sent you would be a fake. These con men also have plenty of Paypal accounts setup using stolen credit card info.

Hey, ok now i see what your saying, but that means now i cant trust anyone on there bidding though....so what should i do? Tried to trade/sell it on here...didnt turn out very well. Hmmm anyone have any ideas on what to do? *mind u i did tell him that i also only ship to the USA, and he is "in" euro/africa.* Ebay is such a pain

His feedback was a big fat 0, which normally i dont mind trying to give 0 bidders the chance to buy from me, but with guitars and other things well over 200$ i normally dont bother. But yeah just thoght it was funny guy was trying to go thru all that.

yea, this guy lives in like nigeria or something. he scammed my buddy out of 2000 dollars.
