Scamming jerk on the 'bay with a 1570L

Okay, I know it isn't exactly kosher to post items from the bay, but I had to share this with you all. This is his ad. Item #320333982939

Quote:
Ibanez RG 1570 Prestige LEFT HANDED ! BRAND NEW!

Left-handed guitarists are smiling because they know what they just found and also how rare this is.
WHAT I'M SELLING IS AN
IBANEZ RG1570 PRESTIGE LEFT HANDED ELECTRIC GUITAR (BLACK)($1350 VALUE)

I feel the need to make a distinction between an ordinary RG1570 (which is made in TAIWAN, retails around $650 and is of poorer materials , craftsmanhip and overall quality) and a RG1570 Prestige (which is custom made in Japan by TEAM J. Craft in a very small number each year, retails around $1300 and is made of the best woods and is generally considered as the best that money can buy as far as left-handed electric guitars go).
IN PRISTINE CONDITION, NEVER PLAYED
ABSOLUTELY NO MARKS OR SCRATCHES!

I SOLD THIS EXACT GUITAR MODEL BEFORE, SO YOU CAN CHECK MY FEEDBACK. I AM A SERIOUS SELLER. THE GUITAR I SOLD BEFORE WAS FROM MY OWN COLLECTION, AND IT WENT A LOT CHEAPER.THIS ONE IS BRAND NEW, NEVER PLAYED AND PRICED ACCORDINGLY. I WILL CONSIDER OFFERS, SO DON'T BE SHY.

IT'S ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND THESE IN THE STORE NOW OR ACCESSORIES FOR THEM.

IF YOU USE THE "BUY IT NOW" BUTTON I WILL INCLUDE A HARD SHELL IBANEZ PRESTIGE GUITAR CASE ($200 VALUE) -LIKE THE ONE IN THE PICTURES, WHICH WAS CUSTOM MADE FOR THIS LEFT -HAND MODEL.

IF YOU USE THE "BUY IT NOW" BUTTON I WILL ALSO INCLUDE A LEFT-HAND IBANEZ WHAMMY BAR WHICH DOES NOT COME WITH THE GUITAR UPON PURCHASING(in store) AND IS ALSO VERY HARD TO FIND.($40 VALUE)

ALL IN ALL A $1600

THE CASE AND THE WHAMMY WILL NOT BE INCLUDED IF THE GUITAR IS SOLD ON A LOWER OFFER.

PLEASE BID WITH CONFIDENCE! MY 100% POSITIVE FEEDBACK SPEAKS FOR ITSELF!

I will ship this wonderful guitar for FREE to the winning bidder.

PAYPAL ONLY!

LOWER 48 STATES ONLY

US BIDDERS ONLY!!!!!!!!!!

CHECK OUT MY OTHER LISTINGS

HAPPY BIDDING!
I'm surprised I didn't catch this with the first guitar he posted. He has a couple posted right now, this one at $1400(!!!!!!wtf?) and the other at $1300. He uses the same pics for all 3 that he's posted. I'm sending him an email describing everything he wrote wrong and maybe educate him a bit. It makes me sick to think this guy thinks he can gouge, or attempt to gouge, an unsuspecting ibanez buyer.

Maybe it's best not to educate these scammers, so that way hopefully in the future he won't catch someone that is semi-educated in matters of guitars or Ibanez, if he knows he is wrong he may very well change and make his bay items look more legit

Yeah, I've seen him on there, I don't know if he's actually a scammer or just a dumbass. But I wouldn't worry about it, he will never be selling these at all, not for that amount. If you really want one I would get a hold of Rich, he's blowing out his '08 stock.

[it's actually normal everyday pricing, I'm just allowed to show it on the models they've released MAP control on]

Did you see the price of the Wiis that he's selling? And the Playstation 3s? I wrote to ask him if 25 grams of gold bullion also came with the Wii. The PS3s are over double what they are in the store. And he's got different newspapers with Inauguration headlines for several thousand dollars. This guy has lost it. I don't understand the desire to post a listing with e.b.a.y., that he has to pay for, and put a price on it so high that nobody in their right mind would buy. Doesn't make any sense. How does he come out on top by using this approach? Anybody?

I suppose if you smoke enough crack, anything can seem reasonable.

Rock on!

Unless their policy has changed, to my recollection you only have to pay if the auction actually ends with a bidder on the item. Of the few items I have ever listed, I always got bids, so I had to pay something. But than again, the last time I posted on there was in 1998.

I saw those. That guy must be completely off his rocker.
