Shipping a guitar from UK to US - who?

Hi all, I'm hoping to ship a guitar to the US, it's quite a large acoustic guitar.

I've tried parcelforce - they won't ship to the UK parcels over 1.05 meters in length, so that rules out basically all electric guitars.

I've tried parcel2go, they won't offer insurance on Guitars over the value of £100 (what the hell?) so these are obviously out too as the guitar is worth a lot more than that.

I'm at my wits end trying to find a company that will ship it, can someone help?

I've had a quote from DHL, fully insured which came to £177 :S

Only domestic US, they still do international

to germany i often ship with interlinkexpress…fast, fully insured and reliable.

weird, I just had a packed shipped to me from DHL with Newegg.

Yeah. DHL are still going, my workplace uses them to move around TVs and stuff.
