Should i sell my DNA ?
Yesterday a guy from Netherland dropped me a mail if i would sell my DNA. He said he would pay 5200 €. Now i am in a conflict. I don't need the money urgent, but on the other hand its a lot of money. Its a nice swirl and i don't know i would regret selling it. What would you do ??

Re: Should i sell my DNA ?
Thats one of the best DNA's I have seen..
But...
If you dont play it, then sell it.. I just cant see having something costing that much money and getting no play time what so ever.. Its a guitar its meant to be played. Soooooo I say sell it, only if you dont play it.

WOW, that is spectacular. I'd hang on to that forever and ever. Igotta say, that is the BEST swirl ive EVER seen. Incredible. I'd want more than that for it.

I think you would regret selling that no matter what sum of money you got out of it. Just me $.02.

Re: Should i sell my DNA ?
I agree with Ibanezcollector in that if you don't play it, then sell it. Saying that, I think you should look at where you are right now: do you need money, could you use the money towards a few other things, and you could always buy a nice high end guitar as a player. Having said that, saying that you "once owned a DNA" vs saying "I own a DNA" is a tough call. Best of luck on your decision.

Well, I'd say, if you don't need the money, don't sell it. That swirl looks like a piece of art!

I can't resist but... WOW that has gotta be the sickest DNA i've ever seen...
Personally, I won't sell it for that little.

Re: Should i sell my DNA ?
In cases like these you've got to ask yourself why you bought the guitar.
If you bought it as an investment, then are you making a profit? A large enough profit? A HUGE profit? If you'll make a nice return get rid of it and stick the 5K in a high interest bank account till you get twitchings for a new axe.
If you bought it to collect, tell the chap do increase his offer by 50% and see if you're tempted then.
If you bought it to play, then you might as well sell it if you're not using it.
Either way, you're in a win win situation

Re: Should i sell my DNA ?
That's my favorite DNA, that one right there.
Need the money? Nope. You say you don't need the money. Keep it. Sell it when you need the money, otherwise keep it.

Re: Should i sell my DNA ?
I agree - that's the coolest DNA I've ever seen. If you don't need the money there's no way I'd sell it. I would assume these DNA's will keep going up in value so why get rid of it now. Even if you don't play it, who cares. It's your guitar. If it was mine I'd keep it until I really needed to satisfy some GAS or whatever.

Re: Should i sell my DNA ?
if you dont play it all the time and are not a SERIOUS collector - I would sell it and buy a another JEM then put the remaining 4k in the bank
